The MPRN (Meter Point Reference Number) is a unique number for each gas supply and is usually found on the gas bill issued by your supplier.
Unlike the electrical MPAN, the MPRN is not a structured number but is usually 6 to 10 digits in length and should be printed in the gas bill.
It is worthy of noting that if your MPRN starts with 74 or 75, the supply has been provided by a third party or independent supplier rather than Transco or British Gas Networks.
